Hello
I was the
1 who posted the comment saying I prefer Melissa Scott
over Pat Robertson
I still think The 7OO Club jumped day 1
& I still Love Jesus
& I think 261 day 1 votes is not enough
I think it's wonderful that The 700 Club
has more day 1 votes than never jumped
I wish I could see more day 1 votes because 1 of my favorite things to do
is to check a show i don't like or I like & see if it got more day 1 votes or never jumped votes & see no change
is not much fun if you know what i mean
I can't vote day 1 more than once
I wish but i can't & i'm sure many people they could but the only way you could vote day 1 more than once
is if you had another computer
I'm new here, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
the 700 club jumped day 1
I Love Jesus
I Don't like 700 club
I prefer Melissa Scott from pastor scott
on ion she in my opinion preachs the
Bible without asking for money unfortunantly most preacher ask for money these days & take the Bible
out of context like Pat Robertson
now I have not seen pastor scott
that much because it comes on 12AM CT
where i live &
my dad has seen more pastor scott
basically watch cartoons like garfield or spongebob or comedies like green acres or I love lucy or Game shows
like press your luck or price is right
that's right cartoons,comedies & game shows &
I know 1 verse every 1 should know
that goes like this
"for the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabiants thereof have spoken lies and their tongues
thereof are deceitful in their mouths"
Micah Chapter 6 Verse 12
It speaks about people like
John McCAIN & Barack Obama
i'm against abortion & war
& I think we shouldn't be criticial of people who are prowar or for abortion rights.
God Bless
Agnosticism (Greek: α- a-, without + γνώσις gnōsis, knowledge; after Gnosticism) is the philosophical view that the truth value of certain claims — particularly metaphysical claims regarding theology, afterlife or the existence of God, gods, deities, or even ultimate reality — is unknown or, depending on the form of agnosticism, inherently unknowable due to the nature of subjective experience perceived by that individual.

Demographic research services normally list agnostics in the same category as atheists and non-religious people[1], using 'agnostic' in the newer sense of 'noncommittal'[2]. However, this can be misleading given the existence of agnostic theists, who identify themselves as both agnostics in the original sense and followers of a particular religion.

Philosophers and thinkers who have written about agnosticism include Thomas Henry Huxley, Robert G. Ingersoll, and Bertrand Russell.

"Agnostic" was introduced by Thomas Henry Huxley in 1869 to describe his philosophy which rejects Gnosticism, by which he meant not simply the early 1st millennium religious group, but all claims to spiritual or mystical knowledge.[3] This is not the same as the trivial interpretation of the word, and carries a more negative implication for religion than that trivial interpretation.

Early Christian church leaders used the Greek word gnosis (knowledge) to describe "spiritual knowledge." Agnosticism is not to be confused with religious views opposing the doctrine of gnosis and Gnosticism—these are religious concepts that are not generally related to agnosticism. Huxley used the term in a broad sense.

In recent years, use of the word to mean "not knowable" is apparent in scientific literature in psychology and neuroscience,[4] and with a meaning close to "independent", in technical and marketing literature, e.g. "platform agnostic" or "hardware agnostic". This is a less than accurate use of the term "agnostic" and should be replaced with "technology indifferent" (having no bias, prejudice, or preference).

Agnosticism can be subdivided into several subcategories. Recently suggested variations include:

- Strong agnosticism (also called hard agnosticism, closed agnosticism, strict agnosticism, absolute agnosticism)—the view that the question of the existence or nonexistence of an omnipotent God and the nature of ultimate reality is unknowable by reason of our natural inability to verify any experience with anything but another subjective experience.

- Mild agnosticism (also called weak agnosticism, soft agnosticism, open agnosticism, empirical agnosticism, temporal agnosticism)—the view that the existence or nonexistence of God or gods is currently unknown but is not necessarily unknowable, therefore one will withhold judgment until/if more evidence is available.

- Apathetic agnosticism (also called Pragmatic agnosticism)—the view that there is no proof of either the existence or nonexistence of God or gods, but since any God or gods that may exist appear unconcerned for the universe or the welfare of its inhabitants, the question is largely academic anyway.

- Agnostic theism (also called religious agnosticism)—the view of those who do not claim to know existence of God or gods, but still believe in such an existence. (See Knowledge vs. Beliefs)
Agnostic atheism—the view of those who do not know of the existence or nonexistence of God or gods, and do not believe in them. "[9]

- Ignosticism—the view that a coherent definition of God must be put forward before the question of the existence of God can be meaningfully discussed. If the chosen definition isn't coherent, the ignostic holds the noncognitivist view that the existence of God is meaningless or empirically untestable. A.J. Ayer, Theodore Drange, and other philosophers see both atheism and agnosticism as incompatible with ignosticism on the grounds that atheism and agnosticism accept "God exists" as a meaningful proposition which can be argued for or against.

Let us believe in this day and age that there is an invisible man in the sky that gives a rats ass about us!
Hey dave g. It's not that I'm anti-Christian, I just feel that Pat Robertson is nothing more than a con artist whose purpose is to serve himself and not God. Keep sending your money to Pat. I'm sure you helped him buy a few luxary cars for himself.
All of you posting are clearly anti-christian zealots. Why is it that those of you who hate God and hate Christianity can have your views splattered all over the television in sitcoms, reality shows, liberal news broadcasts, etc and we Christians can't have our own programs? It's okay to get on TV and say anything you want against God and Christianity, but come on TV and speak for Him...well that should be punishable by death. Gimme a break!

I'm thankful for Rev. Robertson for all of the good things that CBN does to futher God's purpose in this country and around the world. I have never heard Rev. Robertson suggest that by giving to the 700 club that was a "tithe." Christians give to these types of programs as a way to reach out to the lost and help the needy throughout the world as Jesus himself instructed us to do.

For those of you who don't care for their message...don't watch it. They're not asking any of you to give. They're asking like-minded individuals to give, if they can.

One day, all of you who don't believe in the salvation provided by Jesus Christ, will know the truth. You will answer to God. "Every knee shall bow, and every tounge shall confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord." I hope that one day an episode of the 700 club will touch your lives and you are instantly changed by the power of God. Until that day, I'll be praying for you...and sending my gift to the 700 Club in the hopes that my dollars will help the ministry continue its Holy work.
"Send me a check and I'll save your soul." Well, Pat. I'd hate to be the bringer of bad news, but you won't make it to heaven if you keep this charade up. Calling for political assasinations and considering the 9/11 attack to be a blessing from above is no way to get those camels through those needles.

People like you were called "psuedo-Christians" by Thomas Jefferson and "false prophets" by Jesus Christ.
For years, this rotten program has received tax dollars to stay on the air (I'm not certain whether or not it still does, but if so, let's hope our next president puts a stop to it). It is basically summed up as Fox News, but far more idiotic. If more people actually read the Bible, shows like this wouldn't be on the air because nobody would believe such an absurd and immoral book to be the word of our Creator and therefore they wouldn't fall for con men like Pat Robertson. "Revealed" Religion is such a great racket.
Like a variety show for the 12th century. Attacks all the other religions for being crazy, violent frauds, but ignores the crazy, violent history of Christianity. Pat is probably a schizophrenic, in that he has made a psychotic break with reality and has completely lost touch with the 21st century, preferring to live sometime in the Middle Ages. To my knowledge, has never had a single person on the show who disagreed with him on anything. His "guests" are like Rush Limbaugh dittoheads, who just nod and smile no matter what crazy stuff Pat spouts off. However, this show has never jumped the shark ... as Pat gets more insane and more senile, the show just keeps getting better and better. I would really miss his show if it were ever cancelled.
Now if they made Ted McGinley a cohost of the 700 club, then the shark will have been really jumped
Day one.

The fact that never jumped has 202 votes and the next highest vote has only 36 proves my point: That nobody cares enough about this tripe to even vote against it.

Making fun of Robertson is too easy to be considered anything but a waste of time. Like all radical nutcases, Robertson satirizes himself regularly. Theres no need for anyone to waste their time doing it for him.
Jesus hates the Yankees....and Pat Robertson.

Bravo to the writer...Robertson, Roberts, Falwell (my his fat butt forever decompose) are blights on the airwaves.
Day One...Robertson has a history of false prophecies (the Tribulation will begin in 1982? A hurricane would hit Disney World in 1998 as retaliation for their annual "Gay Day"? Natural disasters are slated for Detroit and San Francisco in 2004 b/c of their large #s of Muslims and gays, respectively?), to say nothing of shamelessly defrauding countless viewers. Oh, and it's nice to see the "blame America first" crowd well-represented...may I remind Jay that it was Robertson's GOP cronies who sent gas prices skyrocketing, helped fund an endless war under the guise of Hussein being in cahoots w/bin Laden (shouldn't he have been killed during Operation Enduring Freedom?), and turned the rest of the world against us...funny how your side was quick to attack John Kerry in 04, despite the fact that he actually SERVED in Vietnam (more than I can say for Bush, Cheney, Rove, DeLay, et al.), yet had no problems w/Robertson spending 35 years lying about his Korean War service and claiming to have seen action when he really used his Senator father's power to keep himself out of combat and merely served as a "liquor officer" whose duties consisted mainly of supplying bootleg booze to his fellow troops. Oh, and why did he accuse the press of "prying into his personal life" during his failed 88 Presidential bid when they discovered he'd only married his girlfriend after getting her pregnant, yet was OK w/them ripping into the Clintons some 10 years later?
I love how every single person posting on the 700 club is ripping pat robertson. It's liberal hippies like everyone posting here that's ruined this country. And tanks to you guys, you'll probably vote that dirtbag hillary clinton in for president next year
Whatever happened to Ben Kinchelow? Their news makes Fox news look like the Daily Show. Thank god I'm an atheist.
