Exit, stage left: William Petersen as Grissom. This show is done for sure.
Not just that Grissom is leaving, but that he is having some problems and his "true love" Sara comes back to help him through them. OMG, can it get any worse? I don't think just changing the channel is enough any more. I think I will totally unplug the TV on Thurs nights, just to make sure I don't accidently see any of this story line.
The announcement today that Grissom is leaving episode 10 of season 9, will make it official.
I didn't like GSR either. I was somewhat disappointed with how the "Miniature Killer" storyline played out. I think the show will be hurt a little bit with the departures of Sara and Warrick.

However, I don't think it's jumped just yet. As long as Grissom, Brass, and maybe Willows are on the show, and the stories are still captivating enough to hold my attention, then I think it will be OK.
All you people upset about Warrick getting killed off in this season's finale need to read up on the actor that plays him, he was arrested for coke, etc. He was fired from the show, not just killed off.
This show jumped for me when Sara and Catherine laughed about some guy claiming he was raped by a woman.

I was angered especially by Sara who is so self righteous and serious when a woman is raped or even suspected to have been by a man.

The miniature killer sealed the deal and I haven't watched since.
I just wish Two and a Half Deaths had been, you know, funny.
The show jumped after the first couple of episodes with the miniature killer. That storyline was good for two, maybe three episodes at most. It became tedious, boring and way too painful to watch. I tuned out most of that season.
This show has it's day and I hope it draws to a close while it has some modicum of dignity left, before the episodes get any more weirder and campy (the episode with the Mythbuster cameo was pushing it, "Two and a Half Deaths" was quite terrible and Brown getting shot are signs that CSI is now in irreversable freefall).
wtf? how come +1000 votes for lady heather she is awesome.
was it just me or the last two eps of the season was pure CRAP?? csi always had good eps but it seemed as soon as the writers came back from strike they through some things together and called it done. WHATEVER. the way warrick died was so SORRY.come on! the car either should blown up or have the guy come over to HIS SIDE of the car and blow out his brains and see all the matter on the windsheild, now that would be true csi style.
The 'Mythbusters' cameo was borderline but 'Two and a Half Deaths' sealed it for me. CSI has JTS.
CSI remains one of my favorite shows, but one thing is not realistic. It makes you wonder why Las Vegas even needs a police dept. No need to have one, the CSI's solve everything.
Brass and company are around only to cuff the perps and provide backup in the interogation rooms.
it really made me mad when sara left but it pushed me over the edge with warrick's death cause he was one of my favorites
Crap. Just when I think it's safe to go back to watching CSI, the word comes out that Jorja Fox will be coming back to do a few shows this year. Now, I have nothing against Ms Fox, but I can't stand Sara Sidle, and the whole GSR story line makes me gag. I know I won't be tuning in for the new season.
