k seriously this show is the best i have seen in a very long time. the cases keep getting stranger and there is plenty of suspense and emotion throughout each episode. rufus sewell is absolutely brilliant as dr. hood. ppl today have such short attention spans, and cant bear to have to think a bit while watching something on tv/.
this show is so great. it keeps me on the edge of my seat and wide awake, even at 9 at night when im otherwise dead tired from work and school.
DONT CANCEL!! ELEVENTH HOUR=amazing
!!!
Thanks a pantload res08hao. I am executive writer on this show. I am a non- smoker, hold three PhD's and am amazed how widely the viewers have missed the sublte ironies and statements infused into the show. An example would be the small- town Sheriff handling a biohazzard vial....he's an ignoramous. I assure you our leads are neither a bimbo nor a dufus. Mr. Sewell is my oldest, dearest friend and you should consider yourself lucky to even be able to lay eyes on "THE NEW OLIVIER". It is the short attentions spans and youth- obsession that keep good shows down. Have a good one.
Of the 3 current shows, The Mentalist, Fringe, and this one, this is the worst. It's bad because I seriously doub t if one bimbo agent would pair with one dufus scientist and roam the country at will. Increasingly, these shows are clearly written by marginally talented writers who sit around a table, smoke cigarettes, and wonder what preposterous story line to jam down our throats. It is highly unlikely this show will be renewed.
It really makes you marvel at how damn good the X
Fiies was.
I love this show! I wait to watch it on Tivo so I can skip the commercials. This show definitely DID NOT jump the shark.
It's Rufus Sewell and just because he does not act like a trashy letch does not make him socially inept. The show is not boring. Attention spans are short and peoples brains are shriveling. The show is exellent and everything that pappens on it is done as planned. The audience is too "dull" to get it!
This show just doesn't keep my interest. Maybe it's the dialogue, but I fall asleep every single episode. BORING may be the word I'm looking for. I watch FRINGE and it really holds my interest.
Maybe it is just me, but sometimes having a program that acutually requires you to think is good. Not heavy, mind blowing stuff, but working though the plot to determine the outcome. There are a lot of dumb shows out there, but they last because the viewer is spoon fed everything. It has not jumped
The show jumped during the episode in which the "handler" is in mortal danger and the "talent" must save her. Seriously. Most shows wait several seasons, building a romantic or strongly loyal relationship between characters, before reversing the roles of protector and protected.
Unless Marley Shelton starts investigating crime scenes with her top off, this show is doomed to a quick demise.
I must agree with almost comment every I have seen here. Rufus what's his name may be a great actor to some, but in this show, he seems to me to have no social skills.
The kicker for me to turn this Turkey off was last nights episode where the obligatory shady doctors were performing experiments on Autistic children.
The Hot woman at the party asked for his phone #, and he didn't respond.
Then to make things worse, she tried to give him her number, and he walked away saying "Duty Calls"
It made him look like an idiot.
Why Matt? Do you have any idea how many sociopathic children are being reared out there by nature and the "nurture" of their unfit parents? Get over the notion of "the poor innocent children". It's getting worse and it shows everywhere even to the extent of the behavior of the commenters on this site.
I think that when a show resorts to a crazy 11-year old poisoning his friends like something out of an Agatha Christie novel, that's dredging rock bottom
No. That was realism. Many cops are not too bright. A show with Rufus Sewell is incapable of jumping. BASTA!!!!
This turkey jumped in the very first scene of the very first episode, when a cop picked up a jar that had a clear biohazard label on it, and opened the lid!
This is the best show in years in great part tdue to the mere presence of Rufus Sewell. Noone on this site seems to know good television from bad. It was a gutwrenching, humorous and clever show with the brilliant Sewell commanding every scene. You should consider yourselves lucky that he does anything for American tewlevision at all! Shame on you all. OMG!!!
