Entourage hasn't JTS yet. It came close last season with the "Making of Medellin" episode when Billy gets hung up on that Brazilian chick. But its still the best show on television.
Plus, everyone's talking about how bad Adrian Grenier is as an actor. IMO, the worst actor is Kevin Connelly. Whenever he gets angry its always the same "F U Billy!" attitude. I actually think Grenier is one of the better actors on the show. Jeremy Piven isn't that great either, but he plays a great Ari. So does Kevin Dillon, although I thought he was terrible in the movie 'Posiedon' last year.
The show is running out of steam though. If the producers decide to do another season I'd be surprised if its any good. All of the jokes have worn thin. How many times can you rank on your buddies for not scoring a chick?

I'm gonna have to propose a new jumping point - the second half of season three is truly awful, but I'm gonna go with the general resurgence of the whole Medellin thing as the main problem. One of the things I liked about Entourage was that I really wished the movies were real so I could go watch them. The film, and the whol storyline, is utter nonsense. You know when Drama's subplot is the best thing about the show, you've hit rock bottom.
This is one of the best shows on TV right now. I look forward to it every week, and I always wish that HBO would turn it into an hour long format.
For me the affection I have for this show comes from my severe jealousy of the lives these young men lead: Jetsetting around the world, working once every few months, dating the hottest chicks on the planet, great parties, loyal friends, and the sunshine of California. They have life by the balls. Every Sunday night I take a little pleasure in pretending that I am friends with the boys and living the life they show us so well.

People talking naturally,I mean naturally. I love the show for at least one good reason, no commercials.
Tivo ruins network TV (you find out how bad they are screwing you with commercials)

Great show and great characters. This is the one show I go online to see when new episodes are starting. The whole Medellin thing was done so brilliantly that they could actually make the film for real and proabably pull off a box office smash.
I like how they made it a Caans failure, setting up Vince to deal with adversity, for years now that kid sh*t gold and came out rosey. Ari is great, Drama is a franchise, E is the rock holding all those flakes in check. Great cameos, everything about this show is fantastic.

for the adrian haters, dont you get it, he is acting, wake up. that is how good he is, he portrays talentless vinnie chase to a T.
one of the best shows on tv.

Season 3, episode 12 "Sorry Ari" was the beginning of the end with Ari's overacting starting to become highly annoying. Episode 16 "Gotcha", with Chuck Liddel, was where the show became almost unwatchable, and Episode 19 "The Prince's Bride with Yair and Nika Marx, was where the show officially became unwatchable. Although Billy wearing the "Suits Suck" shirt may have been the jumping of the shark.
Beware what you wish for. People will stop watching Entourage, it will be canceled, and a desperate HBO will bring back Arli$$.
You have been warned!

hey if you people dont like the show as much as you say then just quit your whining and dont watch it. as simple as that. some people say how its a torture for them to watch this show or how the actors are terrible. to all of you i just say this dont watch it! nobody forces you to anything.
Is it just me, or are too many people taking this show seriously? To me, it is just a complete piss-take of the whole hollywood scene. Drama and Turtle are obviously the Abbott and Costello of the show, and it is easy to see why Jeremy Piven keeps getting nominated for the emmys. Vincent and E are simply the straight guysaround which the story has to revolve.I can't wait to see what happens now that the flop which is Medellin makes the entire entourage have to reconsider their futures.
I occasionally watch this show just to see what all the buzz is about, then I kick myself for wasting a half hour of my day. God, I hate this show. Morons are destroying the credibility of a good show like John from Cincinnati and getting it canceled and putting crap like Entourage up on some wobbly pedastal. Idiots who watch HBO please go back to watching reruns of Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond and let HBO make more quality programs that people with a brain can enjoy.
This show definitely jumped the shark when Ari got fired. It was a dumb move for two reasons:
1. You knew he was going to get rehired. The show could not go on without him. For the season to end on that, just to get people to watch the next season was ridicules. The show was still great and the intrigue of Medellin was the perfect hook. Instead, they had to drag it out and have Ari rehired before the Medellin plot line could continue.
2. It created a cliché loving relationship between Ari and his clients. Introducing the softer gentler side of the titan that was Ari. Up to that point Ari was untouchable, he could say anything and do anything to anyone in the show, but now whenever anyone stirs up trouble he has to go to Lloyd and have a spooning session to know that it is all better now.

I agree with George and Pete. Grenier is not much of an actor. I recently saw a story in which he was on a list of people who are famous without having much talent. People figured he had the best agent in town and they can't imagine him carrying any of the movies that Vinnie gets cast in. Pablo Escobar? Pul-eeze!
I'm wondering if the producers and writers don't have much confidence in him. They don't give Grenier much to do. Vinnie has outsourced most of the most of the hard work to everyone else. Eric and Ari have to do all the heavy lifting, Turtle supplies the girls, weed, food and booze, and Drama...well, he seems to represent what happens to actors who party too much and leave their careers in the hands of others (like Ari and E).
As a result, Grenier has little to do other than repeat a handful of stock phrases like "Don't worry, everything will work out" and "The universe has a plan". It gets dull after a while.
