When Rena Sofer (aka 'Vicki')joined the cast. What a terrible character. Uggghhh! Can we get more cliche?
this show was truly amazing..

whoever didn't like it is an idiot..

Nina Van Horn was the best character ever to be produced on television..

I have all the episodes and truly it is a much better show than Friends( totally crap) or Everybody Loves Raymond..

NBC sucks totally for taking it off air..the ratings were pretty good but couldn't be consistent coz the channel kept switching the time slots.
what is the tall mail guys name. I know he is a stand up comedian?
Chicken pot chicken pot chicken pot pie!
Rena Sofer joined the cast.
You'll like JSM if you like sitcoms like Third Rock from the Sun or Friends. These kinds of shows can't compete with more sophisticated fare (like Frasier), but they aren't supposed to. They're just for easy laughs, and JSM was always fun to watch and approached humor in a unique way. Shows like Still Standing and Reba with their fake "family comedies" could learn a lesson. Sitcoms are meant to be fun . . .
Most characters were in The Emperors new groove
The self-absorbed Nina character (played by Wendie Mallick) is 1 of my all-time favourites. I've worked with girls like her & invariably think back to 'Just Shoot Me'.
I voted for "Maya and Elliott break up." The show, while not centered entirely on the two of them, had been building slowly to their having a relationship, then it completely dumped the story shortly after it finally happened. The plot worked well, far as I'm concerned anyway, and it made me wonder if some other reason caused them to stop the story cold. After that happened, it seemed to flounder around without much direction.
I really liked Just Shoot Me but I don't think it ever did that well in the ratings. The addition of that Rena character was the sign of impending doom though showing signs of desperation. When a show is failing just end it..don't try to change the mix which had worked really well early on.
One of the best shows on TV, Just Shoot Me has me laughing all the way through it! I think all the characters are fantastic, particularly David Spade (Finch) and Wendie Mallick (Nina). Jack Gallow is also very good! A definate must-see!
JUST SHHOT ME was a smart, cleverly written comedy. I think like most male-viewers, I watched mainly because of Laura San-Giacomo. She has a sexy bedroom-voice and of course epic boobs. I wish she had dressed more revealing, but obviously that wasn't meant for her character. Maybe SanGiacomo was conscious of her very large breasts, as she almost always wore dark-colored tops, and If I'm not mistaken, never showed any cleavage. However, she was okay with playful references to her boobs by the other characters. If you want to see her practically "falling out" of her bra, check her out in THE STAND.
Never jumped..David Spade made that show. Funny thing with him though is that you either hate him or love him, there's no gray area.
