Luanne getting pregnant by Lucky was(in my opinion) a pathetic excuse for a storyline. Pretty much anything involving Lucky is a very undeveloped story plot. Why did Luanne have to end up with him? In the episode "Return of the Dope" Buckley's angel told her that she was meant for something else, which led her to go to community college, so if she was just going to end up with Lucky... what was the point? The whole Lucky/Luanne plot ruins it for me.

I don't like that they killed off Cotton either. That was completely random and at the end of the episode I was wondering if they told Bobby what happened. There were a few loop holes. Plus that's pretty unimaginative. Like the writers sat around for four hours and were like, "....hmm... ohkay, uhm... someone could die? ...yeah! Uhm... Cotton! Ohkay let's call it a day."

I think they put more thought into where they're going to eat after writing the new episodes, than the actual plots.

I still watch it and I still love it and have seasons 1-6 on DVD... but the new ones aren't as good. Some episodes have a glimmer of what used to be, but sadly they are few and far between.
KOTH is still a great show. Entertaining, yet not above the top.
Peggy has grown to be a bit on the annoying side though.

Luann getting preggers by lucky just doesnt seem to be developing as a story line, except for Lucky being a dull character.
King of the Hill DID jump. Not with Lucky...with the death of Cotton.
This show has never jumped, sure Lucky is a bit annoying, but it's not like he's become Urkel and taken over the show. This is by far the best and most underrated shows on TV.
King of the Hill WAS good until Lucky became a regular character. He just makes Luanne look more like trailor trash. I cannot stand any episodes that have Lucky in it for the majority of the time. I also HATE peggy. I can't watch any episodes when she is the focus. The only episode I liked that evolved around Peggy was the one when she sky dived and her parachute didn't open. she had to be treated like a baby, it was priceless :)
Mike, if hanging around geeks who love cartoons is so annoying, don't. Why not take up something else while they watch their shows?
["Jumped day one..

There is nothing more annoying than being around a bunch of geeks that want to watch cartoons on Fox all night long on Sunday..."]

This guy Mike has the same comment on every Sunday night animated show board.

And yet he calls us geeks!
Peggy is too "stuck on herself". Hank is too much of an uptight redneck. My favorite character is John Redcorn, but he should "get a life".
somewhat like Family Guy...again, cartoons can take different liberties and avoid the phony things that happen on "real people" shows...i.e.: clean kitchens and guys who sleep with a shirt on ...unrealistic
HANK HILL IS MR ANDERSON ASSHATZ!
I LOVE King of the Hill!
It never jumped!
Though I can't believe they killed off Cotton, Hanks dad...even if he was an a-hole...he was still pretty funny.

Luannes boyfriend Lucky I don't really care about. He's alright. If he gets killed off I won't be devastated.
I agree with you, Tom, and I am one of those who can't stand Family Guy and American Dad, because they are ugly, hateful and unfunny. King of the Hill isn't perfect, but what show is? I think that they should let the characters age. That way they would have a better flow of new situations and characters. The reason why a lot of cartoons become stale is everybody stays the same forever. On Family Guy, the guy in the wheelchair's wife has been pregnant for years!
Loved it then, love it now. KOTH is good family comedy, unlike its counterparts (ie Family Guy.) King of the Hill at it's core is the story of a good american family with christian values.

Ah! I see. It all makes sense now. Thanks, Itchy Algae!
