Larry: We'll take your calls! Houston, Texas!

Caller: Hi Larry, I'm your biggest fan! My question is...

Larry: What's your question!?

Caller: Huh? Yes, I just wanted to know...

Larry: I think we lost the call. Do you like onions?

Guest: Why yes.

Larry: I love blueberries! We'll take a short break and be right back after this!
Larry King interviewing Motley Crue? Talk about a slow news day. What's next--stories on the NKOTB reunion?
see this thanks
interesting post thx
Dancing with Janet Jackson and giving the few steps some kind of grand name b/c he misunderstood what she said.
Larry lost my respect when shortly after Linda McCartney died, he had this sleaze bag Tony Frost, the editor of the Enquirer or of some equally diseased Tabloid, claiming that Linda wasn't really ill, never died and that Paul reburied her body on another part of his estate that was different from where she was really buried. Larry did nothing to state otherwise, he went along with this cowardly liar.

Oh, and during the Jon Benet Ramsey case, he had Tony Frost on there making lies that the Brother who was 8 or 9 at the time and the elderly man who played Santa Claus at their party were the 2 other possible suspects. What nerve! Once again, Larry did nothing and let this schmuck with the IQ of a handful of 1000 year old Dead Sea mud, make these horrible lies on his show...in both cases he never ever came on later and apologized or stated that the views of the Enquirer were not the views of the show
When did Larry King die?
I think Larry lost it sometime ago. For some reason they still have him on TV. Maybe there is still an audience of die-hards.

Anyone see the Seinfeld interview. I did not see it live, but watched the repeat as it got a lot of press. That was too funny. Larry had no idea why the show was taken off the air. Jerry really let him have it.

Probably not nice to make fun of a person aging. But, take him off the air. He is ruining his legacy.
And I remember one episode a couple years ago where his guest was Dick Clark, who took Larry King down a peg,and left him sort of speechless.I can't recall what Dick Clark did or said, but I was glad to see someone cut Larry King down to size.Does anyone remember his interview with Dick Clark?
Oh God! Did you see the show with the surviving Beatles? Paul and Ringo were cracking up at how clueless Larry was. He asked George's widow, Olivia, what the song "Something" meant to her. Anyone halfway aquainted with the Beatles knows that George wrote "Something" for his first wife, Patti "Layla" Boyd. Larry even called Ringo "George" at one point.
Paul handled him deftly...
LK: Paul this has been a tough year for you with the divorce. How are you dealing with it?
Paul: Actually I deal with it by not talking about it.
Even when he reads the e=mail questions from viewers,he interrupts his guests when they are giving the answers, and sometimes does NOT let them finish the answers.
Larry's too weak. He's never controversial. Why can't he be more like Jeremy Paxman on BBC's Newsnight and give his interviewees a good brilling? He should call it quits. Jumped the Shark on Day One.
Larry King should call it quits. For the following reasaons:He interrupts his guests, acts at times like he couldn't care less about what subjects his guests are talking about, and at times looks and sounds downright bored. The guest hosts he has -or should I say CNN has -when he's gone (like last Friday night,August 24,2007-Where was he?)-add a much needed breath of fresh air to an already dead horse.
Jumped as soon as Larry started interrupting the guests on every question. You ask the question wait until they answer then ask another one.
cnn.com has the transcripts from larry king live from 2000 to present just pick one and see how much he interrupts.
Also Rock Hudson's ex-wife's interview is on there and it was definitely his worst interwied-its annoying to read through -can't imagine how hard it muct have been to actually watch it.
Tonight's episode was a loving tribute to the late Merv Griffin in which his son Tony,Gov.Arnold Schwarzenegger,Vanna White,Alex Trebek,actor-friend Robert Loggia, his ex-wife ,.Vanna White ,Joan Rivers and Ed McMahon, and tons and tons of clips,(of Schwarzenegger,Tom Cruise,Sammy Davis,Jr.,Jerry Seinfeld and Jack Benny on "The Merv Griffin Show") and clips of the late Merv Griffin himself when he was a guest on "Larry King Live",which weas marred somewhat by Larry King, who rushed his guest a bit, especially when he butted in when Alex Trebek was talking.
