I loved the show. It was pure, unadulterated fluff, but so is a lot of the "reality" shows they put out there. And as for Karen's insights on the show based on her teaching experience: well duh!!
I've been in legal for 10 friggen years now but I know from the get-go any legal show (from LA Law to Ally McBeal) isn't going to be dead on, esp. if the show is a comedy. Lord knows the legal shows never seem to give much of a nod to those of us who do all the prep work for the attorneys. But that's ok: ITS TV!
I love this show. I can't quite grasp why people don't seem to, and don't give me that it's unrealistic crap. This is a sitcom. If you want realism, watch a documentary, or better yet turn off the TV and go outside. There's plenty of realism for us all out there.

That aside, I think Judy Greer shines as Becky Freely. It's about time she took a lead role (she's earned it). Chris Parnell (who I loved on SNL) is also great as the scheming vice principal. And ex-Baywatch beauty Brooke Burns is OK as Becky's "Frenemy." I hope ABC continues this series. It has potential to be something worthwhile.
I LOVED THE SHOW. WHY IS IT GOING?
JUST GOT STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!!
First day. As a teacher, this show is so stupid and unbelievable. The guidance teacher is a joke, and the whole premise is dumb. At least a show like Boston Public , although totally unbelievable, was amusing. Every show on ABC from this crap to Eli Stone is this Ally McBeal sort of fantasy. One more complaint-Aston Kushner may be the producer of this load of crap but he shouldn't give that no talent butter face Rumer Willis her 10 minutes of fame. Piss off.
