I cannot believe that some people think the show jumped because Grant fixed his teeth! Honestly people, the man has a right to fix his teeth! I also don't understand why some people think that the show has veered from its format; they're still testing myths just as they always have.

Everything with the show now is about the "big boom". The show went from two guys in a garage home building everything to the monster explosions and experts brought in. It is almost unwatchable because everything has become too big.

As soon as they do the Candyman/Bloody Mary episode.

It's about to jump. And it's the adages and movie busts that are to blame. If you look at the list of episodes more than 50% of them have the word 'special' on them.

The worst thing they've ever come up with yet is "Will a bull really go crazy in a china-shop?" It's a saying, that has nothing to do with science!!! Agh! I think the last truly great experiment they did was the Hindenburg episode.

I don't mind the build team, I just want to see less of them, and Kari is annoying but she was around when the show was at it's best so it's not like you can blame her. And seriously, lay off Adam and accent thing.

The one I truly can't stand is the narrator!

I must say, I miss Scottie! I personally enjoyed her contribution to the show much more than any other member of the build team, particularly Kari. Ugh, every time that girl opens her mouth with some ridiculous comment, or flaps around in her "hot geek" wear... Please, get rid of her. I enjoy every other facet of the show, even if Adam's silly voices get a little over the top, and the myths revisited get a little boring, I really love this show. Just, please. Give Kari the boot.

for the guy who said they were kissing the UK's ass, I thought that Adam was just making fun of them? Everyone talks in a British accent from time to time.

1. Scotty isn't on the show. She seemed like the most down-to-earth of the bunch, and gave the show cred. The show jumped when she left.

2. When Adam does those voices, he's clearly playing to the camera. The "look at me," behavior gets old.

Anyone saying the show jumped with the build team IS SMOKING CRACK. The build team are the BEST thing about this show. And Adam talking in funny voices and getting dressed up - while grating at times - are also pretty entertaining at times as well.

Adam is mainly funny, and the build team are very funny most of the time. That, combined with the science, equals a very good show.

People complaining about them doing Hollywood myths are smoking crack as well - the show is about urban legends, and urban legends do develop from tv shows, you know.

And going back to the build team - if you think the show jumped with them, then you clearly never watched the first season.

Oh wait. What am I thinking? San Francisco based ensemble, most if not all cast and crew members gay/lesbian/bi, run by UK people with well-known anti-American political ideaologies. Hmmm.

Never mind.

All's normal with Mythbusters, they're the way they are because they're the way they are.

The show is apparently either funded produced and/or owned by the British or the Australians, and it shows. How annoying is Adam always in the faux cockney accents? And even when they aren't in the British mode, the American cast members still dissolve time and time again into British lingo such as "smashing" or "have a go" etc. etc. etc. You people on Mythbusters cast, get a personality of your own and stop kissing the UK's ass! Do you hate America and Americans or something? BTW I am the one that wrote in and complained about our American Flag being disrespected by hanging over and touching a bunch of junk in early episodes, you can see it humiliated in the background when cast members are doing monologues. It took a full season before anyone fixed this, finally they re-hung my flag properly and it isn't laying draped on junk anymore. I only hope they burned that one and the one hanging is new.

Shame on MYTHBUSTERS for dissing America and Americans by acting like UK idiots and trashing our American Flag!!!

As a lot of people here have said, they go do a review of the show after every commercial. I mean come on we just saw this 5 min. ago, Its not like its from the previous week where we need to be reminded what happened. Thank God for TiVo.

The show neaver jumped! I like the build team, I like all the myths in the show. The show is the best Discoery chanal show ever!

As a long time fan and watcher, Mythbusters hasn't jumped the shark, but it is swimming with them. These days, they test too many "myths" provided by Hollywood. I don't put a whole lot of credence into the believability of James Bond or MacGyver in the first place, so watching the experiments fail comes as no surprise.

The show also feels very drawn out to meet its hour-long format, repeating a lot of earlier footage to get us up to speed after each commercial break.
