Terrible show. Let's watch a couple of spoiled little porkers swear while their parents swear in unintelligeable accents. I like Ozzy for his music ability, maybe he can act, but not on a reality show.
Had the misfortune of catching an episode. It was like watching paint dry. If there's a lesson to be learned rom this dreck it's celebrities can be boring too. The family itself jumped when they would come out with personal revelations (Ozzy's molestation, Jack's drug addiction ect) ever so often to stay in the spotlight. This is why I detest reality shows about celebrities.
The f----n' Osbournes f----n' jumped when I f----n' couldn't understand a f----n' word f----n' Ozzy said, and every f----n' other word was f----n' bleeped.

It JTS right after season 1. It was grotesque to watch a retarded but good-hearted rock singer with a Lesbian wife and two fat disgusting kids, but they should have called it quits after that. they lost their innocence and spontaneity and became completely stupid and contrived, except for the ozzmeister himself. kelly is just a digusting little piggy, who does she think she is? and why the hell does her mother kiss her fat ass? lesbians should not have daughters, it just leads to very strange kids and sick relationships.
This show pretty much proved how much of an idiot Ozzy is. As much as I adore Black Sabbath (whose material was mostly written by the other band members) and Ozzy's older solo material (which would've never happened without his opportunist wife seeing the chance to be a rock star's manager), he's just a complete moron who happened to have a great voice, and now he can't even perform onstage worth crap anymore because he's fried so many brain cells. And hanging out with Dubya... hey Ozzy, remember that song "War Pigs"?! And those two obnoxiously trendy, pseudo-rebellious, reverse bandwagon jumping kids. Sad. Just sad.
prolly after the first season. it wasn't too bad at first, felt pretty bad for Ozzy all the time and the family was chaos, but when the show became popular and switched its focus to the kids (for its supposed audience demographic) it got so boring and crappy and not at all believable. particularly, Jack really sucks on tv. i don't know how any of these people are for real, but he sucks on tv. yuck
This jumped from day one – There is no doubt about it. The bigger question is why it ever got on the air in the first place. Maybe the viewing audience liked to see that rich people in the entertainment business have even more screwed up lives and families than they do, and to see visual proof that fame and money don’t necessarily lead to happiness. However, given the (mercifully brief) fame that two of Ozzy’s kids enjoyed as a result of this (despite their conspicuous lack of any kind of talent or ability), I’m not sure that was the reason people were watching. This may not be the ultimate low of reality TV, but it must be close – how did this manage to stay on the air for three years? I can only assume that the program was cheap enough and had decent ratings, plus the fact that Ozzy’s past as a rock star worked as a promotional hook. As an aside, it was good to see that Ozzy’s oldest daughter Aimee refused to have anything to do with this circus, and moved out of the house the moment she heard about it. It's nice to see that *somebody* in the Osbourne family has some sense.
The Osbournes definitely jumped with the George Bush episode. An earlier poster hit the nail on the head with the Dr. Evil analogy (Dick Cheney is Number Two). The only thing Ozzy and George W. have in common is they are both former(?) drinkers and drug users. That was a very dark moment in an otherwise hilarious show. As far as it jumping after it got popular, no way. And as for selling out, come on, fame is fleeting and who among us wouldn't make hay while the sun shines, just live Savvy Sharon.
This shows first season was hilarious. The second season on the other hand sucked. Jack and Kelly just became another couple of bratty rich kids becoming famous. Sharons ego got way to big (a talk show damnit?) and Ozzys babbling wasn't that funny anymore. But the first seasons a classic.
When this one female fan visited the house, claimed to be an excellent singer, sang "sometimes I feel like I lost my soul" so damn badly, just randomly hits the drums on the drumkit and says "I have one of these at home" ... she is so awfully annoying. Good show actually, but that episode was senseless.
"The Osbournes" jumped when it became the "How awful can Jack and Kelly be?" show. A post a couple above this states that teenagers are terrible and it can be understood how adults hate them. I work with teenagers every day. I can easily say that the majority of the teens I have encountered in all my years are good, decent people with high morals. Yes, of course most of them have major issues which they deal with everyday. Even matters which older people may consider "silly" are important matters to teens. As for "The Osbournes": If I were to encounter teens that are so obviously desperate for help as are Jack and Kelly Osbourne, I would seek out that help for them, be it from doctors or even the authorities. These two teens have quite clearly been neglected by their parents. Ozzie and Sharon may say that they love their children, and perhaps they truly do, but each and every episode of this program provides clear evidence that Mr. and Mrs. Osbourne have absolutely no clue on the topic of raising children. Nor have they sought out help from any other sources in quest of information on raising children. Jack and Kelly Osbourne give out subconscious cries for help in each episode of this series. It is simply awful that society has chosen to simply laugh at them as they are brought into our households through a mis-guided media. I certainly hope for the sake of these two young adults that this series is not as "true and unrehearsed" as it claims. Hopefully the children and the adults present are putting on an "act" for the camera, be it scripted or not.
