Well, first off I always loved the show particularly once they started to get older. To those who say "they started to act black", what in the world does that mean? They are half black. Anyway, the show was one of the best shows the 90s had to offer. I don't think the show jumped the shark, I do however think that Ray not marrying Lisa was a plot killer. Also, because the last episode didn't conclude where everyone would be going or doing after the wedding. Other than that I give the show a 10 out of 10.
lisa's personality started to get annoying. whatttttta momma!
Sister, Sister always sucked, but it really, really started sucking when the sisters started acting black. At first they say geeky things that real teenagers don't say like "Oh my gosh!" Then they started saying "Okaaaaaaaay?" after every sentence.

Stupid, stupid show. Smart Guy was better.
The departure of Roger ruined this series for me! He was my favorite character!
Sure the whole 'Go Home Roger' thing was a bit 'catchphrase-y' but that's what i liked about it!
When they tried to replace him with the Sister's two new boyfriends (and badly including them in the opening sequence in the place of Roger) I just couldn't bare to watch it anymore.
I wanted to see the last episode where Lisa got married, and having Roger sing at the wedding was a highlight for me!
where can i watch it online?
not on youtube!
only one on veoh :(
not fair! cant find it anywhere!
The relaxers killed it for me.

Is this program still on?!!
The show is just that....a show, purely for entertainment!!! So for those indivduals who referred to the twins as 'stuck-up' or to the things they would say in the show as BS, you all took the comical aspect and demolished it. Keep in mind this was the Disney channel and the show was intended for viewers who would take it lightly. Understand that the ENTIRE life story of Tia and Tamera could not be documented in the thirty minutes alotted for the show. So naturally, instances in episodes were exaggerated. (FYI, Tia wore glasses in one episode, but could have possibly switched to contacts for future episodes...food for thought.)Also, I don't think that Tyreke and Jordan made the show awful. In fact, they played a part in showing that Tia and Tamera were no longer little girls, not that they were sassy, snobby, or conformers who would allow a boy to change them. And ladies, as hard as it may be to admit, some guys may cause you to change in a relationship. And not necessarily for the worse, as such in Tia and Tamera's case. I think the fact that they were incorporated in the show help transition the two women from childhood to young adulthood.I mean really, does one actually think that the show could have continued where the two ladies showed no interest at all in having a real relationship as seniors in high school? A show, I understand, but we want the audience to somehow relate to the actors. As for the twins finding out that they were the products of a bi-racial relationship, it's only natural for them to be shocked. If you followed the show accurately, one would already be aware of the fact that they were adopted and never sure of who their birth father actually was, inlcuding the color of his skin. If they had not acted surprised (and I emphasize acting because that is what they were doing the entire time...) problems would still be found in that. Also, by looking at them, it is not extremely obvious that they are bi-racial. So to say that they should have already known that they weren't of full african descent simply because the friends around them were shades darker, seems a little small-minded.And finally, yes we all loved Roger, and the part he played. But seriously, the career he wanted was not fully in acting. It was his music, as it should have been. He is a wonderful actor, but an incredible singer. Of course as his music career blossomed, his appearances on the show would dwindle. All in all, I loved the series "Sister, Sister". It was funny, realistic enough for television, and had an awesome cast of actors and actresses.Best of luck to everyone involved with the show.To Tia and Tamera, keep doing what you're doing. You guys are Great!!!!
This show was good and i thought that the episode about their real father was in a sense funny when Tamera says, "No offense but you're white." that was funny because in reality they are part white and black. I don't know why ya'll hatin on them or this show because it was very well put together. i agree the last episode was a shocker and it did suck i always thought Lisa should have been with Ray. And these girls can sing and just because they wanted to show their talent on THEIR show didn't mean anything. some actresses can sing and some singers can act. no one said a word about Beyonce' wanting to be a actress though she wasn't all that good and she only had two good movies and no one said a word about Jennifer Lopez who was a actress before she was a singer. so don't say a word about their singing because they can sing. and as they got older they didn't get sassier they got older hello! they had to add a since of real into their show and if they acted sassy then that's what they wanted to be. and mary-kate and ashley stole their whole plot point from tia and tamera so stick that in yoru juice box and suck it!! and i'm not saying this because i'm a huge fan of them but because its true. i mean they didn't sterotype blacks because if they thought they were they would have stopped it i mean the show couldnt really go on without them though there was one episode where they weren't really in it. but besides that sister, sister was a good show so leave it alone and when they took roger out i didnt even notice it roger was a good character and because of this show marques houston became what he is today
sister sister was hilarious I really like the episodes when they graduated
I noticed you made errors on this. Let me correct you guys. "Sister, Sister" ended in 1999, and the show was originally on ABC (the now-defunct WB picked it up in 1995). I don't remember what time or day this was on. I got this information from Wikipedia. The Disney Channel only showed the reruns.
Here's my real comment. I watched this show when I was little. I had a crush on Tia and Tamera Mowry. I wonder what happened to those two?
I like the first few seasons, back when there hair was curly, because after they changed there hair, and there boyfriends became apart of the cast, they became sort of the opposite of what they were when they 14 year olds, in my opinion it seem like they became a little too "urban," or "sassy," shall I say, even though when they were younger all they did was complain, and were always upset about something I think it was better, especially when Roger was there.
:^O
just wanted to know if anybody knew what song is played in the episode "its my party" wer they plan 2go to a concert in chicago....its a swing song....thanks

ps show wos great 2 watch whilst growing up.
Has anyone noticed that these girls DONOT look like twins?! You can obviously tell them apart. The show jumped the shark when the twins got boyfriends, but also it jumped when they kept recycling the SAME OLD ACTORS. Notice how Diavian was an arch enemy of the twins when she was Rhonda's side kick (in the episode were Tamera runs for school president), then all of a sudden we're suppose to believe that they've been friends since day one?!? Also, some of the other characters who played love interests or crushes, were previously on the show before 1997. There are so many "Huh? wait a second!" moments in the show when it came back for the 1997-1998 season. Like for instance, pay attention to the episode when the twins get seperate bedrooms. It just wasn't pluasible...how is Rays room attached to their bathrooms, and what the hell happened to the other room?? Its very obvious.
