Never Jumped. I would cancel going out just to watch this show. I still think about it and wonder about it. I search the internet for it. I hate FOX!!!!! I give all those stupid reality shows just to have this show come back on.
you would think with all the other shows for has on dvd this show would be a natural but we ve gotten all three seasons of milenium so maybe there s hope
12 years later and still i think about this show. wish FOX would at least release it on dvd.

Great show, never JTS. The issue of Karma, fate that was addressed week after week was too intelligent for common folk. This show never had the opportunity to play itself out. This was another poor decision by FOX producers. FOX, listen up, there are intelligent people in our country who like shows that require a few more brain cells. This show was GREAT! I wish that it had survived long enough so I could purchase the box set of all the episodes. I loved the show and loved the underlining issue of fate and destiny.
Never Jumped. Very well written and timed. In the third or fourth episode, it opens following a beautiful lady in a red dress, who Chance "saves" from getting hit by a bad driver. The story then goes on to follow Chance and the female driver of the car, who is supposedly married to some big-name start shooting a new file/show in town and has been getting death threats. At the end of the show, the Lady-in-Red is the one who ends up shooting the star. This seems out of left field - for a second - and then it registers that you've been seeing this woman in the background all through the episode. I had to go back to the tape to realize that it was the same woman Chance "saved" from being hit at the beginning of the show by the woman who turned out to be star's real wife. Karma at work?
Strange Luck + X-Files on Friday nights was just great television. My friends and I loved every minute of it. Firefly got the same treatment from Fox, so they could stick on TWO hours of American Eyesore nightly. Shame. Strange Luck never JTS, but toward the end it seemed apparent that they were rushing on the exposition (of his brother's identity, etc), perhaps in anticipation of getting the Fox treatment (cancellation). I would buy this show on DVD in a heartbeat if it was published, but boo hiss to Fox for forsaking critical acclaim in favor of cash from the great unwashed on every occasion. BRING BACK CHANCE!
it never had a "chance" to jump. i saw the first episode and a few others. but the thing really impressed me was once i got home and turned on the tv and watched only about 5-10 minutes the show (the execution episode i guess).. oh my.. remember the live song , the rain, the thunders... that was really amazing. weeks later i made a paper for a literature class and i made a whole story based on that finale (apparently i was the only one watching the show). it did fairly good and someone told me i watched to much tv. damn right!
Another classic case of a show being too intelligent for the common folk to follow. It was great, and I miss it...
Two office mates turned me on to Strange Luck, which I think was the best dramatic show ever on the Fox network until 24 premiered. Strange Luck's skewed, subtle outlook and quirky stories were always vastly more interesting than the blatant weirdness of The X-Files, and D.B. Sweeney and Frances Fisher were (and are) two of the most compelling actors ever to star in a TV series. I liked to watch Strange Luck and The X-Files as a package deal on Fridays, but when Strange Luck was canceled, so was my interest in The X-Files.
This was one of the greatest shows ever. I still can't believe that FOX canceled it. This show was the best vehicle for D.B. Sweeney, one of the most under rated actors out there. I still remember one episode that starts with a shot of him from the knees up crossing the road, all of a sudden he trips and falls. When he gets up and dusts himself off you see him reach down off camera and pick up an artificial leg. The rest of the episode was hilarious.
The mulder mention was a bit out of left field, but all in all I liked the show and really missed it when it died. Why does FOX do that? "Hmm I think this is a well liked show, let's cancel it without warning and see if we can hear people screaming out our office window." At least now FOX seems to be selling good shows to other stations rather than simply shooting them in the back. so they can get "really" good shows (~rampant sarcasm~) like temptation island. ~rolls eyes~ that's a real winner.
