Titus has to be the hands-down-funniest show ever on Fox, If you disagree then, you must come from the 36% of the "Normal" families out there. I cannot even tell you how many times my friends and I would be watching this masterpiece of modern American family life and start spouting names of people in their own family or say "That Dave, is soooo much like..." And Fox has a history of short-lived riotously funny series. (Arrested Development, Bakersfield P.D. or House of Buggin, anyone?)
Titus Rooooooooocks! I just recently purchased a copy of his "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding" routine from ebay and he has the dark humor pegged. Too bad Fox didn't understand it. They used to be the cool network that would air shows like this when they first started up. Now they are making money and can't afford to take risks.
I note with interest taht no-one talks about the episode that was banned in this country when it was repeated several times; the one where Titus goes to his ex-fiancee's funeral for the simple reason that he wants to make sure she's dead . . And can't physically abuse him anymore.

Not only brave, but true. Spouse abuse, despite many proclamations is not purely a male-on-female activity, and Titus makes a greatly amusing and at the same time thought-provoking routine from it -Including the The Night Before Christmas spoof.

Admittedly, once Titus's real father died, there was a loss of edge, but that is understandable. I must confess I think the show never JTS.
VAN DAMME FAN CAM

"Say it again!"

"Jean-Claude van Damme could kick Clint Eastwood's ass!"

:punches him out:

hilarious
A dark, edgy show which when firing on all cylinders was also one of the all-time funniest. Titus wasn't just angry at the world, he was absolutely furious, and to have the bleakest of themes being played for laughs sometimes fell on the wrong side of the fence, but there's nothing like finely-wrought black humour and that's overwhelmingly what 'Titus' provided. Took a paddle sometimes, but never jumped.
look... i respect titus man, he's into hot rods, he created and wrote the show u gotta give him credit and hey he aint bad looking...;).. i reallu liked this show it may be a lil balck humour but it was indeed funny.. im sure whether u watched it , if u liked it or not.. that u laughed at least once. r.i.p... 'titus"...
GO CHRIS TITUS...
The first two seasons of this show were brilliant. The third season was AWFUL. There were two good episodes in the last season. Titus stand up is hiliarious. His new show Big Shots is good but its no Titus.
How is it possible that one network can cancel Titus, Arrested Development, Family Guy (twice), and Futurama? They also tried to cancel 24 after the first year. IS Fox being run by manatees? This show never jumped the shark, but if I had to pick a moment, it was probably when the real Ken Titus died, as the show got a lot darker, and took a different tone, though was still very funny. Stacy Keach's Ken Titus and Tobias from Arrested Development and Peter Griffin are my three favorite sitcom character ever
Good Lord this was a horrible show. It never ceases to amaze me how so many low-brow, ignorant folks in this country can find such utter hilarity in child abuse themes. Maybe FOX should start a new comedy about a football player who has his own dog fighting ring; then we'll all REALLY have something to laugh at! Imagine the guffaws that will ensue as we watch the dogs maul each other, the roaring laughter that will take place as the camera zooms in on the owner of the losing dog once the match is complete!

But wait... it's just never as amusing when the target of cruelty is an animal instead of a child, is it?
Brilliant show which suffered from the Fox tradition of airing brilliant shows, moving them all over the schedule so that they can’t keep an audience, then cancelling them. The lame-as-hell War at Home is essentially Titus dumbed down for the viewer Fox wants to court.

NEVER jumped!
I'm sorry, but this may be the worst show of all time. How is Chris Titus a celebrity? The man IS NOT FUNNY!
this show shouldn't have been cancelled. It's so funny, you only cancel the show if:
a)your high
b)your Davce
c) all of the above

God I wish this show would go back on-air.
The Best episode ever was when they were on a plane to Titus' Mother's Funeral. 9/11 just happened a few months earlier and just about every rule and regulation was broken in the funniest way. Titus going nuts over his mom's Turkey dinners, Tommy complaining about the pronunciation of "Chicken King" ("It's Al La! Al La! Al La!") Dave emerging from the bathroom with a robe, a towel on his head and a shaving cream beard. You can venture on what happens next, but you had to be there to see it.
I own all three seasons of this show on DVD. It is my favorite T.V. show, and most definitely funny! Anyone who thinks differently should first watch his original stand-up routine "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding", and then check the ratings when Comedy Central televised it prime time- which is commendable in itself. Go Titus!
A great series that is as funny now as it was when it first aired. Sorry that I haven't seen Titus do anything else
