Jump the shark when Katie Lee Gifford join the Today show. Doesn't she have a sweatshop to run or something?
NBC is without a doubt the most left wing biased network. I have never seen a network in the support for Obama and the Democratic Party. Take Sunday Today show on 9/28 they reported on how SNL spoofed politics when they should have said Sarah Palin and the GOP. I have no respect for NBC and find them a waste of time.
I wish that during an interview Matt Lauer would cross his leg toward the audience, not away from it, the way actors on the stage are taught to do.

I'm tired of looking at that long, meaty thigh.
Spreading smears and lies about Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska and first female candidate for the Vice-President of the United States of America.
The only good thing about the "Today" show adding a 4th hour is that it got that horrible soap opera "Passions" off the air.

How that "Passions" show ever made it on the air in the first place is beyond me.
Music choices for redonkulous segments. Sisqo's The Thong Song should not be used to show sandals - though they were discussing cheap thong sandals.
When Kathie Lee came aboard the NBC News family, yikes :).
I don't know about the rest of the show but the 4th(really the 11th for them)hour has certainly JtS. What were the powers that be thinking? Matt, Hoda, Natalie, Ann are just getting by, and now they throw the old crow into the mix, hah!

I get it though, the powers are expecting some kind of melt down, power ploy from the insufferable KathyMee. It's the wreck they're banking on. The problem is that could be months, come on KMee give us something to remember you.
May 21, 2008 -- many things are in the news today.

Senator Kennedy, a hugely influential figure in our country for decades, has been stricken with a serious disease.

President Bush has been in Saudi Arabia to try to do something about the supply of oil.

Two primaries took place the day before, two strong Democrats contrinue to work for the nomination of their party.

What is Matt Lauer talking about when all the other networks are analyzing these major events?

A new reality show with a starlet that has had marital problems.

J U M P
It jumped when an awestruck Meredith Vieira interviewed train wreck Tonya Harding. Must have been a REAL slow news day. Vieira does deserve some award for wearing the frumpiest outfits on morning TV.
Kathi Lee expects her loud and annoying bit to work like a car crash - you can't turn away. What she doesn't know is that some crashes are so horrid, they're unwatchable.
Ann Curry interviewing anyone is a joke. She's a news reader and pretty fair at that. But when it comes to the dreaded one on one with someone it still looks phony and fake. What's really funny is when goes into high gear and trys to play hard nosed reporter with the tough questions. Give it up and and stick with your new pals Brad and Angelina. At least they sort of warmed up to you as you kissed their beloved you know whats.
Now that we have Where In The World Is Matt Lauer, can we expect similar editions from Ann Curry, Kathie Lee Gifford, Al Roker and Natalie Morales? Meredith Vieira isn't included, since she is going to China for this year's Olympics, then probably move on to FOX.
While Kathy Lee is a royal pain, you have a point Mark Kirby. Kelly and Regis are even more irritating, among others. She's just one of those people that are famous for being famous.
Mark Kirby,
The viewers already cut Kathie Me way too much slack the first go-round! Haven't you ever heard the saying, 'Once burned, twice smart!'?No? Then, I guess neither did 'Today'!
Agree that Reege, Kelli are grating! Let all three of them scream at each other for the rest of their existances -in obscurity +away from any cameras!
