There are several versions of why the show crapped out, but the relocation to the US really sucked. Does anyone out there have a source for tapes of the show?
I have the show! Email me at spiderziggy@yahoo.com.
I really liked this show, even after it became "Love and Curses" but thought it JTS after Randy and Ethan started to get romantic but couldn't consummate their love.. (gag) because now all of a sudden she wolfed out if she got turned on enough? Utter crap for new and "interesting" plot twist.. Bah!
The show definitely jumped when it moved to L.A. and became Love & Curses. It also lost it's sexual tension as the She-Wolf became involved with the professor. Suddenly, he became a suave, romantic leading man instead of a Giles (from Buffy)-like fuddy-duddy. But man that Kate Hodge was ultra-hot!
When it moved to LA and became "Love and Curses". Not a bad title, but the show went downhill. Of course - before this happened, it had been cancelled on British TV because the censors felt it had too much violence. Bah.
it jumped when the stars left england & started over in america & the show changed its title. i admit that i don't recall what the new title was.
YES! I still adore this show to death! And although I do think it jumped when it moved to LA, as long as the lovely Kate Hodge was present, it was ok by me. What a babe.
Does anyone remember this syndicated series from the early 90's? Kate Hodge played an American grad student who went to London and was bitten by a werewolf. It was a well written show. Kind of a precursor to the Buffy/ Angel stuff.
