I wish that the producers would stop casting teams that look directly into the cameras and make lame attempts to be funny.

Long Distance-dating couple, Fat Eric/Jeremy, Hippies, and blond girls in pink clothes-Is this the best that they come up with? The TAR 13 introduction videos screams "Don't bother watching!"

If you want to watch a decent travel shows, you should watch Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. The only thing that you would get with TAR is some crappy couple bumbling their way to the final three.

I would submit that TAR actually is the least obnoxious of the reality shows and, while I think it may have come extremely close to jumping with that truly awful family version, it's rebounded nicely. Most of the participants are more down-to-earth and "real" than on other reality series, and there is some legitimate competition and teamwork taking place during the race. At least the scenery changes during the course of the show, unlike being stuck looking at the same shooting location for the entire season.

Some of the newer "twists" may not be great ideas, but will they disappear next season? Hopefully. The quality of the contestants is much more important to me than the specific tasks or challenges they face, and I think that the casting decisions make or break each season.

They tried every trick in the book and the race still sucks. What's next TAR 20-Will & Boogie VS Ms New York * Tailor Made?

To Johnny: There is no need to be sacastic. I'm just pointing out that the winners tend to be generic dating couple or a obnoxious male team. I'm bored with the outcome of this show.

There are some twists that work(U-turn) and some that don't(Yield, intersection). The bottom line if a reality show needs that much twists, it's time to pull the plug.

anyways the amazing race is still the best reality show on tv. no other show goes around the world in the span of a season or shows people new places/cultures theyve never seen before.

its impossible to satisfy everyone, so someone out there is gonna be dissapointed no matter what "twists" they throw into the show.


the show has had a few "subpar" seasons but has never been mindbendingly horrible (like american idol has basically from the outset, or big brother/real world/ which have had seasons that where total trainwrecks)
so it hasent yet jumped the shark and hopefully never will.


its also the only american reality show thats been copied by other countries, as opposed to other countrie's reality shows being ripped off by us.

Yuck, TV.com is full of annoying fangirls. OMG U R A TROL FOR NOT LIKNG MAH FAVORIET T3M!!11!1! WTF. What's even worst is they don't allow you to delte your account.

Reason why TAR has a horrible timeslot(1) Their outcome is predictable-Cocky fratboys or generic dating couple. (2) Too much bunching in the airports. (3) They got rid of the FFs. (4) Crappy challenges. ie. Who is the least trustworhty? CBS should have sent TAR to the graveyard when they turned the show into the "ROMBER show."

OMG OMG OMG OMG Y WON'T THIS SHOW END ALREADY!!!!! this has got to b the worst reality show out there...for starters we see the same damn thing over and over again. the first 10mins of the show u see every team get the same clue and watch them read it out loud...y is this necessary, honestly? then for whatever reason they make the disadvantage person from each team do all the work. there was one season where the woman had prosthetic legs and her boyfriend or husband made her climb this rock or mountain thing...Y!!!! i swear the writers or producers were like "we'll give ya so much money if ya make her do this and not you." and then back to the repetition. y do we have to see every team do the same task over and over and over again. i saw it the first time, i really don't wanna c it 10 more times...im sorry i lost in interest in this show DAY ONE!!!!
