I agree with most of the posts. I hated this show when it first came out, and I hate it now. Bob Saget was a horrible host of this show. His jokes sucked, his annoying high-pitched voiceovers on almost every *****, and the ridiculously bad theme song. Most of the videos are obviously staged and the voting is often rigged so that either a ***** featuring a baby or someone doing something disgusting will win.

Bob Saget was a terrible host of this show, but the ones since then have been no better. Nothing could save this show. Shots to the nuts, babies doing something any baby would do, vomit, mucus, and bratty, whiny kids whose parents are spineless and won't discipline them are not funny.

Here's what turns me off about the show:

1) The voting is obviously rigged in favor of the painfully not-funny baby/toddler clip, because it wins every freaking episode. It's called "America's Funniest Home Videos," not "America's Cutest Babies."

2) The $100,000 grand prize plus a trip to Disney World always goes to--you guessed it--a baby *****. Don't they realize a trip to Disney World is wasted on a baby? The kid isn't going to remember anything about the experience, and the parents aren't going to be able to enjoy themselves if they have to deal with a screaming, high-maintenance baby.

3) There is nothing funny about people vomiting, sneezing their brains out or exchanging saliva with animals--that crap is DISGUSTING, and makes me not want to watch the show. Some of us like to eat while we watch TV.

Tom Bergeron pasting HIS face over the face of the person in the *****. That turned me off big time.

Okay, videos showing people VOMITING have not been, nor will they ever be funny. Stick with the giggling babies and wipeouts.

How do you go about submitting a ***** for the show?

The best way to watch this show is as follows

1. Own a PVR
2. Turn to the station and pause the live TV.
3. Do something else that is fun for 20 or so minutes.
4. Begin watching the episode. Fast forward when Tom is speaking and re watch the funny videos.

Also, that Head, Gut and groin stuff just plain sucks. Crappy unfunny gimmicks to fill time.

Lame videos of someone's kids saying cute statements or a baby factory that makes her kids laugh on cue. Quite possibly unfunny and undeserving of $100K, maybe $1 or less.

You people are right on about the baby videos always winning. Nothing funnier than a baby pulling a string of spaghetti out of his nose! Seriously, I wonder if the whole audience vote is a fake (pushing the button really means nothing)and the winner has already been chosen. How can EVERY audience pick the baby ***** EVERY time???

i agree with the one poster who put that the audience doesnt get it when choosing the funniest ***** i also think why some of the videos that win are dumb is because its of a baby or little toddler doing something that the audience thinks is so funny and cute (i hate using the word cute when talking about this show) they have to choose the audience just doesnt get it that a baby or toddler or a 5 year old kid will not give a u know what if they dont win do u really expect them to cry because they lost and do u really think they are gonna be happy if they win hell no their parents want the money the kids dont care the audience has to understand this concept

I knew I wasen't crazy in thinking the baby videos always win. The fact that it's a jumped category proves it. Has anyone else noticed that sometimes the three final videos are not even funny, the ones in the runner up montage are, but you can always bet that the three final videos will be something dumb,a baby ***** and some other wild card. I also noticed that sometimes some videos win more than once! Thats not fair all those other people submitted thier videos and some waay funnier ones don't even get an honorable mention.

It sucks how the babies always win. Sometimes the babies have really funny videos, but most of the time they're just being babies and winning because of that. I stare in disbelief during the rare occurence when the baby ***** loses, and am half-tempted to cheer and jump for joy. For once, the audience realizes that this is America's FUNNIEST Videos and not America's Cutest Baby Vidoes.

A fundamental problem with this show is that the three finalists are seldom, if ever, the funniest videos and that the kid videos ALWAYS win. How can this occur with EVERY audience in EVERY episode. BUT the thing that is MOST INFURIATING is when Tom Bergeron pastes his goonish face over a *****. I would be FURIOUS if I sent it a *****, it was selected to be shown and then nobody would really see if because of HIS FACE!!!

i like this show, i mean the videos (Except when the people get hurt, such on a trampoline) but i hate the director guy, (Don't know his name)
