Ahhhh, the '70s...back before TV movies became all about diseases-of-the-week and true crime tales.
Who can forget such classics as Satan's School for Girls (featuring two of Charlie's (future) Angels - Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd), The Initiation of Sarah (Morgan Fairchild, Kay Lenz, and Shelley Winters...how can you go wrong?), When Michael Calls (featuring a very young and humpy Michael Douglas), Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (demons terrify the True Grit girl), and The Screaming Woman (Olivia deHavilland is sure she's discovered a woman buried alive on her property).
And yes...the beloved, infamous Killdozer.
These need to be brought back to TV, stat.

I have many, many TV movies from the 70's. I am looking for The Secret Night Caller...if some one can help. Thanks.
I have tons of those old flicks. The made-for-tv movie (70's version) was awsome! Just fond memories.
I so loved these movies! The House that wouldn't Die and Daughter of The Mind were based on books.Crowhaven Farm was great, too. How about Picture Mommy Dead?I've caught When Michael Calls on The Mystry Channel.I would love to have these movies on dvd.I remember some of them like I just saw them yesterday, even though I was a kid the last time I saw them.
I am looking to buy a very old one for the movies of the week Call "Haunts of The Very Rich" Starring Ed Asner and Cloris Leachman...any ideas where I cuold find this?
Angie, I'm not sure if this is right or not but reading your description of that old movie made me think of "Black Noon" (1971) with Roy Thinnes and Yvette Mimieux.

WereWolf of Woodstock was an ABC Wide World Mystery, broadcast at 11:30, on Friday Nights in 1973 / 1974. Not a movie of the week!
"Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring" and "That Certain Summer" - I had a crush on Sally Field, and the latter gave me the creeps - I think it was when Scott Jacoby found the engraved watch his father (Hal Holbrook) received from Martin Sheen's character(though I live in SF now, go figure)...
Hi, does anyone remember a MOTW about a husband and wife, the wife at some point was reliving inperson the exicution of a witch by the placing of a large wooden plank(maybe a door)on top of her with heavy stones placed on the wood.At the end of the movie, the husband was dead, but she and her son were in the present. A policeman on horseback came up to mom and boy, and offered to tie the son's shoes. Mom recalled that her late husband tied laces/bows the same way. I am not sure if I am mixing Crowhaven Farm and another movie.
Gene,
I realize this may be a bit late, but
"kult-*****" currently offers a great
copy of "Short Walk to Daylight" on DVD
(as well as many other interesting titles) for just $9.99 on IOFFER.COM.
Many other sellers there have items of similar interest.
Also, if you search the web a bit, there are now sites out there that specialize in offering tv and movie titles long out of print (or those never officially released on VHS or DVD in the first place).
Finally, as many others here point out, eBay is a great place to find some of the titles you are looking for.
Good Luck!

This may be a little late, but to respond to Kelly's question about the Susan Dey movie, it was called "Cage Without A Key."
Oh gawd, I LOVED those films...complete and utter cheesefests, and that's what made them so great... they're just another one of those good ol' Seventies mind-warps that we'll never get to see the likes of again. With movies like these, is it any wonder that that decade is experiencing a resurgence in popularity? Somebody should do a complete DVD collection of these ABC "Movie of the Week" horror flicks, I'm dead serious; they'd make a fortune. I'd be one of the first to buy it. Watching those films late at night (back when you were an age where 'late at night' was 10 o'clock) was awesome[/i. I really miss 'em. TV has not been as good since.
