They jumped it with fetus-boy Josh. That was the textbook "jump the shark" storyline, the likes of which would have killed a show dead were it not a daily soap opera.

I have watched AMC with my mother since I was a small child. AMC was a great show in the 70's and 80's. It has jumped the shark for 10 years now. I miss the old characters. Phoebe, Langley, Donna Beck, Jenny and Greg was the supercouple during my teen years. The story lines are crazy. I love Jesse and Angela they are the only ones that I am interested in right now. They seemed to be the most stable couple on the show right now. Erica needs to grow up. She is over 55 and still yearns to have attention from everyman she meets. She still has Jack as her attorney and now she is after Dre's father. I just catch it once and a while. At least OLTL has some interesting storyline. Now I understand why AMC hasn't won and awards lately. The only people I like are Jesse, Angela, Stuart and Adam. They are excellent actors. I use to like Lucci but she needs to step aside.

When they changed some of the actors to play the same charactesr...need I say more?

I don't know when it jumped but they lost me, and lots of others when they stopped respecting us. Childish storylines with plotholes galore, firing vets with no exit montages (Julia Barr, anyone?) backburning core characters (Julia Santos) to focus on newbies that nobody gives a rat's ass about (Kwak and Babe), undoing landmark storylines (Josh), firing Cady McClain before the Kate storyline wrapped (and now they have to find a way to bring her back, and in the process they off another Santos), Jesse's death is undone (which I'm glad to see Darnell back but come ON - we saw him die, organs were DONATED!!). The list goes on and on and on. Until AMC starts listening to what the fans want FULL TIME, and fires BRIAN FRONS and JULIE HANAN CURRUTHERS AMC will be headed to canncellationville in NO time.

This show's jumped at least three times in the past month alone:

1) The book storyline. There is NO FREAKING WAY a book could be written and published within five minutes. It has virtually no point. It isn't driving anything foreward, and is only being used to push Aiden and Kendall toegther so we can hear their sorry speech over and over again.

2) Ryan's amnesia. Ryan went from a tolerable person to a huge jerk! He's obsessed with Kendall, been there, done that! MOVE ON!

3) Pole dancing. Need I say more?

I still watch for Angie and Jesse, but if I have to see Krystal Carey acting like Angie's best friend again, I'll scream (I can't stand either of the Careys.) They're keeping the show afloat for now, but this show is definately in shark territory.

Jumped with the intro of the Careys and overabundance of newbies who can't act and become the focus of the show at the cost of the life-blood veterans. I would hate to ba an actor on that show, especially Michael Knight, David Canary, Thorston Kaye abd Susan Lucci - jump before your career is more ruined!

If you work on this show, let me tell you: You may be trreading water, but you will never make waves in this field. It is so poorly written and acted, I have to hold my breath between commercials it smells so bad!

Thsi show has jumped so many times it wore out the jump-rope! The best shows were in the '70's. After that it has been no good. I wish Ray Gardner or Billy Clyde Tuggle would come back and wipe everybody out so they can start over!

There have been a few time when the show has jumped. One of them was when post menopausal Opal gave birth to sterile Palmer's child. Another was the Kennicott family, Dan, Betsy and Katie. They were supposed to be the late Mary's siblings and all of them were just terrible.

10, Hate the new writers. Bring back Megan Mc.Tavish.

What the hell? It was McTavish and everything after the Bianca/Babe baby switch story that started the whole decline. Now that she's gone, the show might have a chance to recover from her wretched plotlines.

lena didn't give her an ultimatum when bianca learned that lena was helping michael take boyd's formula or take erica's company, or when bianca couldn't tell lena about the rape.

lena would have just brought her mother back with her to pinevalley to find their daughter.

all of a sudden, maggie does everything she can to stop them from being together, took bianca from lena and doesn't want bianca anymore after taken her from lena.
